Making Gold Text and Decorations

For this tutorial you will need PSP, and Blade Pro, a Shiny Gold Blade Pro Preset of your choice. If you don't hae one, check in our Presets section to find one, or there are many free presets throughout various graphic sites on the web, as well as in the presets that come with Blade Pro.

STEP 1

Open a new image with the background color that you want your bar to be, 16.7 million colors. For this tutorial I have used white.




STEP 2

Have your Foreground color set with the color code of #A6AC80 (or Red 166, Green 172, Blue 128)




STEP 3

Apply your dingbat or your text to your image.




STEP 4

Now with your text or dingbat still selected ( those little moving lines are still showing around your text or image. ) apply Blade Pro, using the Gold Shiny Preset.




Now your image looks like this. Dont deselect it yet though. ( keep those little moving lines showing around the text or image. )


STEP 5

Now, you want to apply your drop shadow to give it a little depth and dimension. Use the following settings, in the image shown.





Now you have your 'gold' text or dingbat.
