Lets Make Needlepoint in PSP 6
(this should work fine as well in PSP 7)
Another nice feature of PSP 6 is the effects that are added to this version.
For this tutorial we will be using the BLINDS effect
Open up the image that you want to work with
Now go to your IMAGE/EFFECTS/BLINDS and click on Blinds
When the new screen pops up make your settings as follows:
A) Width set at 5
B) Opacity set at 59
C) Horizontal Checked
D) Light from left/top Checked
Then click OK
Now go back to Image/Effects/Blinds and reapply the very same effect only THIS time make sure the HORIZONTAL is NOT checked
Click OK
You now have an image that looks like it has been Needlepointed.
This would be a great effect on some Country Graphics, for that Homespun look !
