Applying Your Watermark To Your Image
Open up the image that you want to apply the watermark to

Now go to EDIT / PASTE / AS OBJECTS

You can see that the watermark is too large for your image

We'll resize it to fit. Click on your Transform Tool on your toolbar to the left. It looks like this

Then click on the Freely Resize icon at the top of your screen as shown below

Now while holding down your Shift Key, grab the corner of the resizable area and drag it down to the size you want your watermark to be

Now you have a much better size

Now go to the top of your screen, to EFFECT / ALL / EMBOSS

And apply the EMBOSS

Now your image looks something like this

Now, here is where the magic starts !!! Right click on your image and go to IMAGE / PROPETIES

Then choose from the drop down box of the MERGE window and choose LIGHTING and click OK

Now you have a clear watermark over your image. Notice that you can move the watermark anywhere on the image and the image will show through and blend nicely with the watermark. You can stop here, and Merge All if you want to, or you can again click on the Transform Tool, and choose SLANT and change the way your watermark looks, by dragging the corners out on your selection lines until you have the 'slant' that you like. I've shown it both ways below.

Now you have a Watermark that blends right in with the image, but yet makes the image less desirable for someone to use.

Be sure to save your Watermark Image you made to your Object Library for later use on other images.

Do this by right clicking on the image, and choose 'convert to object' ~ go to Object at the top of your screen, and choose COPY TO OBJECT LIBRARY ~ name it and save. You'll be able to use if over and over !
