Finally
a way that is so easy to make a group of tubes that you won't
believe it.
This works in PSP 8 and PSP 9
Among many of PSP 8 & 9's features, is the ability to
make 'easy' and trouble free tubes.
Ok...now
I promised you this was easy, right?
You believe me right?
Of course you do!
You'll see!
Here
we go...........
Alright
you must already have your images together that you are wanting
to "tube". If you haven't made tubes before one
thing you'll need to understand is that your images must be
on a SINGLE layer and on a TRANSPARENT BACKGROUND! This is
easy to achieve by pasting your image onto a blank transparent
image ~ or if you want to make sure its centered on the image
you can paste as a 'new layer' and then MERGE VISIBLE (not
merge all!!) Also it's a pretty good idea to use images that
are the same size, or close to the same size as one
another!
So
you have all your images together and OPEN them into your
PSP 9 Workspace ~ Then follow along~~ For my example I happened
to make a group of 12 tubes. ~~ your group may have more or
less.
1)
Click on RUN SCRIPT

2)
Now click on the AUTO TUBER when the window opens up

3)
Now a small window will open up, and it needs to know how
many cells across and down. As I mentioned earlier I am going
to make a set of 12 tubes so I am going to put 6 of them across
and 2 down ~ I left the cell padding at 2 so the tubes wont
be really close to the edge of the cell. Then I clicked OK
~ Stand Back!!! Magic is about to happen!
Rev
up your engine!!!
Varooooooom!!!!!!!

When
you have your numbers entered in there click OK ~
Screeeeeech!!
Watch the magic happen!
4)
Woohoooooo!!!!!!
Look at THAT!! It created a brand new image with a transparent
background on a single layer with all 12 of my tubes ~ and
here they are ~ just like magic ~
6
images across and 2 down!
Pretty
Cool eh?

5)
Now all you have left to do is give your tube a name ~ and
SAVE.

You're
done!! Can you believe it???
See there! I told you it was easy!
Go ahead & give it a try for yourself!
You'll love this function.
I
love to save a lot of my images as tubes, because that is
a great way to store them to use later, and resizing your
tubes when you apply them, retains a better quality of the
image, opposed to 'resizing' the entire image ~ so it is a
wonderful way to save your work and have it accessible for
later use. I hope you enjoyed this tutorial and learned something
new today!
Happy
Creating!

you like the little fairy tube I used on this page you can
